Ithaca is a beautiful and picturesque small island. Apart from Vathy, which is the capital, there are 8 more lovely villages waiting to be explored.
There are many beaches on the island, varying in size. All beaches have pebbles and the most amazing green-blue waters.
In Ithaca the traveler can enjoy swimming or fishing, hiking or walking on the designated hiking paths (check out the official site www. Ithaki.gr for more information), lovely strolls around the island’s bays and harbours, excellent dining, including fresh fish and meat from locally grown cattle, nice music bars and clubs for a night out and, last but not least, the natives’ memorable hospitality.
Renting service (car, motorbike or boat) is available on the island.
